I recently had some repair work done for some various items - the initial work met all the expectations that were set when I dropped off the car. A couple of weeks later I noticed a leak, and it turned out the part supplier had provided some faulty parts - the shop went above and beyond to be sure a new part was installed and I have not had any problems since - Great work!
I had my transmission rebuilt a month ago and could not be happier with the service and product I received. They explained every step of the process and showed me the parts they replaced when I picked up my car. Just went back for my recheck and everything is working great. Highly recommend this shop and will definitely go back for other automotive repairs as well.

Had to take my car in twice in the past month. Was extremely satisfied both times. Staff was very courteous, professional, and prompt. If I need service again I will certainly be back. Wish all auto shops were so professional.

Had my transmission done on one car and when I brought another one in when it was running bad was immediately diagnosed (no charge!) and up and running that day! We were one thousand miles from home when we discovered a squeaking noise coming from our engine. The car also kept stalling out. Frantic, we called East Charlotte AAMCO after finding them online. Boy, were we glad we did, because when we described the symptoms, they knew immediately what was wrong. They fit us in early the next morning, fixed everything beautifully, and we were back on the road. Everyone was so professional, skilled, helpful, and kind. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. Jon was very honest and nice when it came to customer service, transparency, and speed in getting my car looked at. He kept me informed on what they were seeing with my car and the price I ended up paying was very fair. I will be bringing my car back in the future if anything should happen to it!
I was backing my 99 Cadillac Escalade into my driveway and heard a big clunk and it wouldn’t go in reverse anymore. It would go forward but not in reverse. I looked up transmission shops and came across AAMCO transmissions. I called and talked to Jon about what was going on and what I was experiencing with my Escalade. He diagnosed it over the telephone and gave me a very fair price. I had my vehicle towed in on a Monday and received it back on that Friday. He did find some other things that needed to be addressed so I had those fixed as well. Would highly recommend him and his shop for any of your transmission or vehicle issues. Very honest…the price he quoted me over the phone was what he charged me on completion of the job and just can’t recommend him enough.
Jon has amazing customer service and his pricing is reasonable. He won’t oversell you for things you don’t need and does honest work. Can’t say enough good things about him.
